Official Post Number 2!!!
Look at that!! Two days in a row. I'm really on a roll. Now, I'm not so sure I want to keep calling my posts "Official Post Number ..." But I really can't think of anything much better then that at the moment. So, Official Post Number 2 will continue.
Well, today was pretty productive. I woke up around 9:30am to get ready for work. Of course I didn't actually get out of bed until 10am... I have to leave for work by 10:15. I just don't like waking up very much. I got a call from Mike Hewlett about my Suburban that Tyrone stole. They have it at their lot and wanted to know what I, as the registered owner, wanted to do about it. They did $1,101.05 worth of repairs to it and Tyrone never paid them. Did I mention its all the way back in Texas? He offered to put it up for auction and anything earned over the $1,101.05 will be sent straight to me. He said for a 2000 its in very good shape and they can most definitely get more then that for it. So, I told him that's a great idea. So, now I don't have to worry about the suburban or Tyrone ever again!!
After that amazing phone call, I went to work. I was in such a great mood and it just continued through out the day. I made 28 chocolate cream pies and 5 coconut cream pies. By the way, does anyone need some pies for Thanksgiving? If so you should definitely get them from Tebo's. Best place to eat since 1954!! I'm not kidding, it's been exactly the same since 1954. Most places have machines to do alot of things, not Tebo's. We do everything by hand. During the summer when our famous strawberry shortcake is in season, We can pluck anywhere from 70-173lbs. of strawberries a day!! Our fruit cake is mixed by hand since the bowl is too big for any mixer! Our blackberry milk shakes are made from fresh berries. It alot of work, but it is by far some of the best food I have ever eaten! Personally, I love the Razzleberry pie, its a mixture of Marion and Raspberries. So wonderfully good! Especially with out fresh whipped cream on top!! I could go on and on about this place, but it really is wonderful!
So, after that, I came home. And here I am. Cameron is asleep in bed next to me. (He has to be at work by 4am) Porkchop is also in bed, taking up most of it. That whole diet/ lose weight idea is going out the window tonight. I just ordered pizza as I really don't feel like cooking tonight. Sylar is with Sam and Amanda until the weekend. I really miss that kid when he's not around. Not to mention it's alot colder at night without him cuddled up next to me. Porkchop helps but he smells worse then Doodle.
Thanksgiving is on Thursday! I can't believe how quickly this year has come and gone. In this one year I have quit a job I had for 3 years, flew on a plane to Pennsylvania, got a new job, had a broken heart, had my broken heart fixed, made some life changing decisions, quit another job, moved out of my beautiful one bedroom apartment in Texas, lived with my best friends for a month, drove to Oregon, moved in with my ex-husbands girlfriend's family, got a new job, moved into a three bedroom apartment, and now here I am. To be honest, I have never really felt like an adult. Even after I had Sylar, I still felt like a kid. Nothing like moving 1,700 miles away to make you grow up. We're doing everything on our own now. I am so thankful for all the help I have gotten along the way. I couldn't have done it all alone. I am also very thankful to have Cameron here to support me and make mistakes with me. Even though my happy place is imagining the many ways I would kill him if I ever got the chance, I love him and wouldn't change him for the world. Well I would maybe change him a little bit...
Welp, time for me to get off here, I do plan on posting some pictures of my co-workers as soon as I get a chance. I took pictures of half of them today and will probably be posting them tomorrow night after I get pictures of the other half of them. It's gonna be pretty epic. Right now? I'm gonna go eat some pizza and watch Inception with Cameron. He's very disappointed that I haven't seen it yet. Y'all have a great night and I will update more as needed. Good night!!

Official post number 1.
Well, I definitely am NOT in Texas anymore. As a matter of fact, I am 1,697 miles away from where I called home for 17 years. I am currently in Oregon. (Did you notice the birds? Apparently, everything in Portland has a bird on it.) It's a great story, how I got here. Too many people have heard it, so I'll give you the short version.
At 18 years old I decided to marry a long time family friend, Sam, and we had a son, Sylar. Aaaand, it didn't work out. After 2 years of marriage we decided to divorce. Being the awesome parents that we were, we really didn't want to split Sylar. So, we shared, something most people learn to do as small children, but most separated adults seem to forget. So, I get a boyfriend, Cameron, who I have now been with for two years and is pretty much amazing. Sam gets a girlfriend, Amanda, who, I must say, is also pretty amazing. However, Amanda is moving back to Portland, Oregon. (You can see where this is going, right?) So, instead of breaking each other's heart, they decided that Sam should move, too. Great idea!! But only one problem, Sylar will be in Texas, his father will be in Oregon. How do we split him without causing any trauma? So, we decided 3 months Texas, 3 months Oregon. Good plan, good plan. So, Sy and I fly up to Oregon to start his 3 months and so I can see where he will be staying and what not. By the end of the weekend, I couldn't do it! Not seeing my baby that I have never been away from for 3 whole months?!?! And what happens if he gets sick, or hurt?? So, before my plane back to Texas takes off, I call Cameron and tell him I'm moving to Oregon, he can either come with me or stay in Texas. I figured it would be a pretty big conversation, long, tiring, and full of what if's. Turns out it was a two minute conversation where he said "I'm game." and I asked "Really?". So, we took a month and packed up everything we owned, threw it in my car, and made the 3 day journey to Oregon.
Ok so now that you're caught up on how we got here, I now live in Tualatin, Oregon in a beautiful 3 bedroom apartment with Cameron, Sylar, and Porkchop, our basset/wienie dog. I work as a waitress at a restaurant called Tebo's. I don't know why I never waitressed before, I really enjoy it!! Cameron works night at a store called Fred Meyer. For all of y'all back in Texas, its like a Wal*Mart but waaaay better. They call it Freddy's up here. I guess it's pretty much the same as us calling it Wally world.
There is also, as I mentioned, birds on everything. It's like seasoning to their arts and crafts! I've only been to the Saturday Market once, but I saw ALOT of birds. Saturday Market is like a HUGE arts and crafts fair they have every Saturday. It's pretty amazing and their food carts are to die for and pretty inexpensive. Definitely a must see if you're ever visiting Portland.
So, basically, I just moved to Portland after living in Texas since I was 6. I plan on exploring Oregon as much as I can, and I really want to write about it and post a few pictures if I can. Oh oh oh, also, my mother and aunt are moving here in January. I could not possibly be any more excited then I currently am! Now, even though Mt. Hood and the coast are huge things I should visit as a newly established Oregonian, I refuse to visit them until my mother gets here. It would be amazing to share that experience with her. Now, if only I could get more family to visit that would be amazing.
Well, my next few posts are probably going to be pretty boring. It's been a whole minute since I have done the blogging so I really just want to get back into it. Be prepared for some boring blogs about work, and dealing with Cameron and Doodle. They may not be the best, but I've been out of practice for too long. Well, y'all have a goodnight and I'll write more later!
